Form Follows Faith
Over the years, one of my central responsibilities at Living Water Association was helping the work tell its own story. That meant more than reporting outcomes or summarizing programs. It meant shaping language, structure, and visual form so that complex, relational, faith-rooted work could be understood and trusted by the communities it served.
These annual reports are not marketing materials. They are theological documents—acts of public communication that hold together accountability, imagination, and witness. Each one reflects a particular season in the life of the association, but all are shaped by the same commitments.
I’ve always understood communication as part of the ministry itself. How a story is carried—how words move, how images breathe, how structure guides attention—shapes what people are able to receive. Over time, writing and design became part of my everyday life: editing, layout, flow, and tone. The goal was always to faithfully celebrate the work we were able to do together.
What follows is a five-year arc of that work.
2021 — Holding Steady
